This engagement session is dear to me because it combines all the things I love most – Downtown Asheville, craft beer and wine, my couples, and our family farm in Weaverville, NC! I work full-time for Wicked Weed Brewing as a Social Media Coordinator and Photographer. So worlds collided when I photographed Kevin and Kait at Cultura & the Funkatorium (both Wicked Weed locations). I can’t wait to photograph their wedding later this year!

Like many couples in 2020, Taylor and Jonathan had to change their wedding plans due to the pandemic. Their day didn’t turn out “as planned” due to Coronavirus, but I think we’d all agree it turned out even better than they could’ve imagined. It was intimate, beautiful, and meaningful as they got married at Taylor’s family’s home near Greenville, South Carolina.

When Peter reached out to me about photographing his proposal to Katie, I was ecstatic! I couldn’t wait to see these two friends again and photograph such a highly anticipated (almost ten years in the making) and beautiful moment. Despite a thunderstorm and cell service issues, it worked out more perfectly than we could’ve imagined! The rain cleared, the sun came out, and a rainbow shined down gloriously over them while Peter proposed to Katie.
